Saudi Arabia’s first edition of Al-Ahsa Falcon Festival concludes

To preserve the falconry hobby, cultural development of this heritage, protect falcons, revive falconry-related hobbies, and transfer this authentic Arab hobby to future generations, the first edition of the «Al-Ahsa Falconry Festival», which lasted for four days, was recently concluded in Al-Ahsa Governorate, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the patronage of its Governor, Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr, under the patronage of its governor, Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr.

The festival came in cooperation between Al-Ahsa Governorate and the Saudi Falcons Club, which was established by Saudi royal order in 2017, amid the participation of a group of professional falconers, and the organizing committee stated that the organization of the first edition comes to emphasize the status and history of the province in the craft and sport of falconry and highlight the origins of Arab hospitality, wild trips, poetic poems, and authentic folk traditions, through the races and competitions organized by the festival, which highlight this hobby and craft, and its role in enhancing the quality of the environment and wildlife.
